Castañer Supremo
15 years of a High Class Coffee
Castañer Supremo was born in 2006 by Pedro Bengochea, with the purpose of providing the best coffee cultivated in the high mountains of the coffee region of Castañer. Our commitment is to bring to your cup a high quality product which has represented Puerto Rico around the world with its fragrance and unique aroma.
Castañer aims to create awareness about the effects that coffee has on the environment and, at the same time, bring the best Puerto Rican coffee to every home. Currently, we have reached countries as remote as Spain and France. We continue to expand and focus on our mission to bring the best high-altitude arabic coffee to every home.
The passion for the environment and coffee is so great that Don Pedro used the character of Flores Soto to raise awareness about the effects deforestation and the use of herbicides in the coffee harvest. This is why Castañer Supremo is a friend of the environment. We avoid cutting down trees that affect our biodiversity so much and the use of herbicides in our coffee harvest.
Café Castañer Supremo works exclusively with Arabica coffee. This coffee grows in high altitude areas and has a caffeine concentration of 1.7% maximum. As a result, Arabica coffee creates a more aromatic and smoother drink on the palate, and it is also more digestive.
